Our Staff

Allegra Valberg began riding at the age of nine, eventually competing in Junior Jumpers with support from a sponsor.  In 1989, Allegra moved to Stepping Out Farm to train with Lauren Stevens where she competed in the Medal/Maclay and Junior Hunters.  Allegra is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. After graduation Allegra taught and rode for a handfull of New England farms before founding Ridgetop Farm in 2003.

Allegra has spent the last several years developing a diverse clientele of both junior and adult riders.  Ridgetop joined the Interscholastic Equestrian Association in 2005 and has created a strong IEA team.   In 2011 Allegra was appointed to the head coach position for the Stonehill College Equestrian team.  In 2012 Stonehill won their region with a 20 point lead. During her time at Stonehill she sent many riders to regional, zone and national finals.  Allegra is a USHJA certified trainer.
